ATM tips:
Cela faisait longtemps que j’en avais eu besoin, mais ces derniers temps j’ai eu besoin des OAM.

O.A.M:Operations, Administration, and Management

Ceci s’applique aux interfaces ATM. Bref, cela est bien utile afin de déceler des ruptures de continuités(CC) ou des alerte de signalisation (AIS/RDI).
De plus, sur les tronçons purement ATM, cela est utile afin de voir si la continuité est opérationnelle.
Ainsi:

 coreX # coreX # c coreX(config)# int ATM2/0.19 coreX(config-subif)# pvc 1/504 coreX(config-subif)# oam-pvc manage coreX# coreX# sh atm pvc 1/504 Description: N/A ATM2/0.19: VCD: 23, VPI: 1, VCI: 504, Connection Name: XXXXXXXX VBR-NRT, PeakRate: 8192 (19321 cps), Average Rate: 8192 (19321 cps) Burst Cells: 95 AAL5-LLC/SNAP, etype:0x0, Flags: 0x20, VCmode: 0x0, Encapsize: 12 OAM frequency: 0 second(s), OAM retry frequency: 1 second(s) OAM up retry count: 3, OAM down retry count: 5 OAM Loopback status: OAM Disabled OAM VC Status: Verified ILMI VC status: Not Managed VC TxRingLimit: 322 particles VC Rx Limit: 96 particles InARP DISABLED Transmit priority 4 InPkts: 0, OutPkts: 5365, InBytes: 0, OutBytes: 375550 InCells: 0, OutCells: 10730 InPRoc: 0, OutPRoc: 5365 InFast: 0, OutFast: 0, InAS: 0, OutAS: 0 InPktDrops: 0, OutPktDrops: 0/0/0 (holdq/outputq/total) InCellDrops: 0, OutCellDrops: 0 InByteDrops: 0, OutByteDrops: 0 CrcErrors: 0, SarTimeOuts: 0, OverSizedSDUs: 0, LengthViolation: 0, CPIErrors: 0 Out CLP=1 Pkts: 0, Cells: 0 OAM cells received: 0 F5 InEndloop: 0, F5 InSegloop: 0, F5 InAIS: 0, F5 InRDI: 0 F4 InEndloop: 0, F4 InSegloop: 0, F4 InAIS: 0, F4 InRDI: 0 OAM cells sent: 110 F5 OutEndloop: 108, F5 OutSegloop: 2, F5 OutRDI: 0 F4 OutEndloop: 0, F4 OutSegloop: 0, F4 OutRDI: 0 OAM cell drops: 0 Status: DOWN coreX#

Ceci m’a été précieux pour déceler des problèmes de configuration.
